Bonjour! Listen to the story and try to remember all your animals and colors. Sing along with me at the end! Au revoir!
Yesterday I sent home notes and packets with the French students who were in school yesterday. Here are some resources your students can work on, although they will probably need some assistance from you. See links at the bottom for work that can be printed out and completed. French resources for Kindergarten -3rd grades While we unfortunately cannot be together during this strange time in world history, please know that I am thinking of you and if you need anything you can email me during this break from school ([email protected]). Here are some resources you can access: Quizlet: www.quizlet.com Search for MKorpalski1 and then choose the classroom you are in. You can study whatever topic we are currently working on, but I highly encourage you to go back and review some topics from previous years to refresh your memory. Especially make sure you know your numbers and colors because those are things we always use. Another vocabulary review site with an array of different games is www.french-games.net. Choose a topic to review and a game to play. Amuse-toi! Free Rice: A vocabulary review game that also helps feed hungry people around the world. Go to www.freerice.com and click on the 3 lines in the upper left corner. Click on categories and choose French (or Geography). Watch your bowl of rice fill up with each correct answer. This may be too difficult for the younger students. Here is what each class is currently studying: Kinder and 1st: farm animals – les animaux de la ferme 2nd: Clothes – les vêtements 3rd: completing months of the year and seasons – les mois de l’année et les saisons. We will wait until we return to begin our next unit, but please review everything from 1st, 2nd and the beginning of 3rd grade. Please also check out my website with Youtube videos and other resources for each topic: www.madamekorpalski.weebly.com. Stay safe and healthy. Sincerely, Madame Korpalski
