Join us at Murray Language Academy for Curriculum Night.
Families can meet their students teachers and find what they will be learning about this year. World Language teachers will host presentations in their classrooms at 5:30 and again at 6:00. French is in room 205. I will also go over details about our trip to Paris and Madrid for 6th-8th graders and will be selling taffy apples as part of our fundraiser for the trip. I hope to see you there!

Dear families,
Mardi Gras is March 1st and that date is fast approaching. Beginning the week of February 14, we will begin learning about the traditions of Mardi Gras. Our culminating celebration will be a parade for the Kindergarten through 4th grade French students in which they will display their parade floats and masks, and hand out beaded necklaces to the other students in the school. To create our floats, I ask that students bring in a shoe or shirt box, and anything else they would like to use to decorate their floats (stickers, wrapping paper, etc.). Now through 2/15: bring in shoe/shirt boxes 2/16-2/25: students will decorate floats and masks while learning about francophone traditions of Mardi Gras Tuesday, March 1st: MARDI GRAS! Wear purple, green, and/or yellow (gold). We’ll be showing off our Mardi Gras creations with the school during our parade. As always, I thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]. Madame Korpalski Support the world language department and enjoy a taffy apple during our fall fundraiser. You can order plain caramel, original peanut, or Halloween sprinkles. All apples are $2 each. Give your order forms and money to a world language teacher by Friday, November 19th. Your orders will be delivered Tuesday, November 30th.
